Can anyone tell me the different types of artificial nail tips and what are they used for?

there are acrylics, which are the most durable. They are the most common, and cheapest to get done and filled. they can be pretty damaging to the real nails undedrneath.

gels and silk wraps are a little more expensive, a little more brittle, but does less damage to the natural nail.

Personally I have acrylics because they don't break as easily.

Good Luck! Can anyone tell me the different types of artificial nail tips and what are they used for?
I really think the only difference in them is whether they are acrylic or fiberglass. Also, they can come in any color, from french tip to a light silver tip (American Manicure).

As for the well, I think that has to do with the amount of curve on the nail. The width of each nail is different.
