Have you worn artificial nails? do you find them essential to appearing feminine?

im a guy wanting to crossdress for a day. Never done it before, but as part of it I would love to have a beautiful set of nails. Weird perhaps.. Anyway, has anyone had experience with false nails? what is involved in getting them put on and getting them off? are acrylics or gels better? would anyone be prepared to do a set for a guy, or is that too weird??Have you worn artificial nails? do you find them essential to appearing feminine?
Yes I have worn them, and no they are not a requirement to be feminine. Many cross-dressers go over the top and think they have to wear heavy make-up crazy high high heels etc to appear feminine. Femininity is a state of mind and a presence not something that can be put on or worn. I prefer acrylics and not too long, but tasteful also polish that is not too wild, but you should match your personality and try to express who you are. Nail salons have no problem doing a full set of acrylics for a guy, they may think it is weird but they are happy to take your money. It is an expensive thing if you are only going to keep them for a day. My advice is manicure your own nails so they are neat and clean apply polish if you like but don't feel the need to have long nails to be feminine.Have you worn artificial nails? do you find them essential to appearing feminine?
Gels are better:)

Most people aren't going to care that you're a guy getting them, love.

they just want money:)
