Artificial Nails?!?

How do you remove artificial nails without having to go to the actual nail salon??Artificial Nails?!?
Get 100% acetane nail polish remover, and soak them. It will take a really long time. If they don't come off easily, soak them some more.

Whatever you do, DON'T pull or pry them off. They will peel off layers of your natural nail, and cause lots of damage that will take a long time to grow out again.Artificial Nails?!?
They have nailpolish for it.

=]
ok you're going to look funny doing this but IT WORKS!

You're going to need:

1 Pure Acetone

2 Cotton Balls

3 Aluminum Foil

4. Emery board

What you do is soak the cotton ball in the pure acetone and place it on your nail and wrap aluminum foil around each one the aluminum foil helps speed up the process and help remove the acrylic much better. But be sure to remove your polish before hand.. I you see that the fake nails are longer than your natural nail then cut the extra length. Once most of the acrylic has melted off.. the excess stuff that is stuck just lightly file off with the emery board... it wont damage your nail it will help lift off the acrylic leftover... Good luck
Soak in acetone nail polish and peel them off yourself. It can hurt and you have to be kind of careful, but it can be done.
1 - you can chew them off...lol or

2 - buy acetone %26amp; soak your nails in the acetone, practically all day until it dissolves.
soak them in pure acetone...it takes a long time but is so much less painful than having them removed at the salon
cut as much off as you can and then soak them in acetone. artificial nails are terrible for your real nails. expect you nails to be soft after the artificial nails are removed.
Soak them in HOT water, soak them in nail polish remover then when they are lose take a nife under them and pull them of.
If you soak them in WARM acetone, they come off quicker and easier. It takes about 30 minutes and once they get mushy, scrape them with your fingernails. Make sure not to put the acetone in plastic because it will melt the plastic bowl and take your polish off first. My nail girl tells me to cut them with fingernail clippers first because it cracks them and loosens the nail so the acetone can get underneath. Your nails will be brittle and your skin real sensitive because the acetone is hard on your hands, just moisturize with an unscented lotion.
you can get a bowl filled with nail polish remover and soak your fingers in it and they will get very like soggy and you can just pull them off with no pain and no problems also you can do the same thing but put hot water in the bowl but whatever you prefer!
Soak then in nail polish remover
even though some of the responses are correct...the ONLY problem is is that you cant purchase 100% pure acetone without a license....the kind that you can get from sally's or the drug store isnt powerful enough...you will be soaking for hours!!!! if this is the route you wanna take then you will need patience, a buffer and a glass dish to pour the acetone in....oh and the most important thing that i suggest you NOT doing....dont do what one of the posters said and warm the acetone(you will blow something up)
