Where can I take classes on how to do artificial nails?

I met a girl who said she did nails on the side and I wanted to know where in the hell could I learn how to apply artificial nails and do pedicures(I know Koreans didnt come over just knowing how to do this)?? A book wouldn't be too helpful, I'm talking about where can I take classes?? I live in the Atlanta area???Any additional information will also help especially if you live in the Atlanta area.Where can I take classes on how to do artificial nails?

Most cosmetology academies also offer classes for nail technicians. I'm not familiar with the Atlanta area, but it shouldn't be hard to find a school. You can look in a phone book or a website such as yellowpages.com.


Any place that specializes in cosmetology probably offers nail tech also. You may even be able to find a school just for nail techs.
My college ( just a regular ol' college) offers it as an evening course... like 3 hours a week for 4 months and its around 200 dollars. So check cosmetic schools are community colleges and they will likely have a course you can take.
Look in the yellow pages or google for cosmetology schools in your area.
